Eggesford Forest

Short walks within the forest of 30 mins and 1 hour respectively

Longer walks around the forest and Chawleigh

Grand Western Canal

If hills and roads are not for you, try walking the 11.5 miles of the Grand Western Canal which runs from Tiverton basin through Halberton and Sampford Peverell ending at Lowdwells Lock.  Lots of interesting things to see along the way.  Stop for lunch or a drink at The Globe in Sampford Peverell.  If you don't want to walk all the way back again, you can take the bus.
